2008 Accord - Prices Paid / Buying Experiences

I figured since they ARE selling, I would start the Official Thread.

Please Include FULL Details of the Deal....including Model / Trim / Color / Trades / $ Down / How you bought it (Cash / Finance / Lease) as well as where you bought it from and what experience you had buying it there.

Fake or misleading Post's will NOT be tolerated, and most of us here all know what I mean.....I Dont wan't this thread being turned into the Same Chaos and Spamming Posts as what the Edmunds Forums have now become.....So that means that those who post but have just signed up and haven't posted hardly anything yet will be looked at closely!

And I would REALLY prefer this thread staying on Accords...any Year/Model/Trim....but Just Accords!

Thanks Guys and Gals!

Chris Bond - Gunn Honda

I just purchased mine two nights ago at my own dealership. Here's the details:

-2008 Accord EX-L V-6 6MT w/Navi
-Alabaster Silver
-$2800 down (trade-in had equity...gotta love Acura)
-Trade--'04 Acura RSX Type-S w/34,416 miles. I got $13,000 for her, payoff was $10,200.
-I did a 48-month Leadership Purchase Plan
-MSRP $31,145 - Paid $30,258 - Financed $27,458

I got a decent deal as an employee, given that the car is hard to find (Navi 6-speed V-6) and it's a brand new model.

Very nice deal GigaS27. As I research for a 08 EX-L purchase on this and other Honda forum websites, it appears the general consensus discount off MSRP for Accord Sedan is approximately $900.

Anyone else beat this figure?

I'd say you did well. I'd say what buhockey said - about 900 off is probably an average.
New car prices, new car reviews at Edmunds

if you put in your zip code, it'll show what others paid for the exact build of the car
