The two are very, very similar cars as far as looks are concerned...How can you love one and hate the other? The coupe has more of a sporty look to it, but it is a coupe, isn't that it's purpose? The majority of the car looks alike though IMO, or as close a 2 and 4 door version of the same car can be.

Well I've always loved the coupe versions a lot, and yes it's for the sportiness. The new Altima Coupe is no exception!

I just wish they could make a sexy sedan version too. That's one of the big pluses with the 8thgen civic. Another example being the G45 and M45. While the cars okay are in a much different class, the sedan versions are fairly nice compared to the coupes. Just wished it happened again.

I don't know that I agree with the mitsubishi analogy, but the coupe is much more distinctive than the sedan. The sedan looks nice, and will probably out-sell the coupe dramatically. But the coupe really has 'the look'. It will definitely attract a totally different Accord buyer. Even more so, I think, when they become more available, if so.

I don't see much Eclipse myself. I do see the previous Accord coupe, which cribbed from the last Mercury Cougar.

I gotta say I've heard a lot of comments and complement. But I did end up with a sedan as of last Saturday. So far I'm enjoying it. I was thinking about the Camry too, but I just had to choose the Accord I see some potential in it. Or maybe I'm old now and got a kid so gotta get a four door hahahha....
