Braking Problem & Wheel Balance

I bought a Black EXL Coupe about 2 months ago - it has around 2k now.
I have my first service appt. with the dealer tomorrow.
Hope this isn't the beginning of a trend.

There had been a few times I was exiting a fast turn and had to slow down a little, from 90ish, where it would try sending me into another lane. I thought that VSA must really suck or something and that I would have to turn it off if I thought I'd find myself in a performance situation again. After a little more testing of the brakes, I found that they were actually not all engaging at the same time or with the same pressure - which was actually why I was being sent into the next lane. If I apply the brakes quickly, without much force, it dives to the right. If I apply more force, the brakes balance it back out again.... Kind of dangerous 'eh? Sounds a lot like they all just need to be bled really well - I hope!

The second "issue" which I should have noticed sooner, was that "for some reason" the front driver wheel has at least 18 weights attached to it! The rest are normal and have between 3-5 on them. This tells me that either the wheel and/or tire are very out of balance and should be replaced. I assume that the weights were added at the US factory because it was "new" when I bought it. There has to be some kind of quality rule which states not to use a wheel or tire on a new car if it requires 20 weights in order for it to balance out correctly!!

I have owned a few other Hondas and always been proud to say that they had never needed to be brought into the shop for service -- until now. Of course, I performed all the necessary maintenance, outside the basic warranty period but never had an issue before the warranty expired. Perhaps the braking issue is excusable because I am still breaking in the car but having 20 weights on my front wheel doesn't provide me with much confidence in Honda's quality control these days.

Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow with the brakes but they better give me a new wheel and/or tire!
