What's rattling in the door and dash? - 8thAccord

It seems that after only 300 miles in my new 08 Sedan (EX-L V6), I have developed some rattling noises in the driver's door and somewhere in the center dash. This rattling is really only apparent when for example your changing lanes and you drive over the bumps.

Seems like some wires or loose or something as it's more of a buzz rattle rather than metal clanking sound.

Is this common?

dbassett, I'm having the same issue. Not sure what exactly it is but mine appears to be coming from the drivers armrest near the window controls. Possibly a trim issue? Looking for a TSB or something because i'm sure we are not the only ones with the problem and i'm sure Honda is aware.

I have the same issue. The rattling comes from the drivers side dash vent, next to the door, above the Stability control button!

finally went to dealer to have rattle fixed. Not 100% sure what they did, but apparently put some padding or something behind door panel, either behind it or on it. Rattle is now gone. I asked about any bulletins about the problem and the writer told me he wasn't aware of any at the time. Either way1 problem fixed.
