Talking Programming Electric Door Locks (05 Honda Accord)

Been trying to program the electric door locks. Used the civic forum thinking it would probably be the same as the accord however, I cannot get it to work. I do exactly what it saids to do an then go drive the car an make sure I get it up to 9 m.p.h. an nothing happens.
Is not the honda the same as the civic? Is there a difference?
I NEED Help !!!!
Thanks,
Stash

Welcome to the forum, Stan. The Accord and the Civic probably have completely different programming. If you've got a copy of your manual handy, take a look there. You might find the answer to your question. If not, you might call your dealership and see if they can answer the question. I'm not sure anyone has tried that just yet on the new Accords.

Good luck!

I programmed mine to lock itself once the car's moving and unlock when shift to "P". I just followed the instructions in the manual. Not sure about the Civic programming though. Good Luck!
