Switchback LEDs
Has anyone checked out the switchback LEDs for their turn signals?
I know the Accord Coupes have 1157 bulbs and autolumination.com sells a few to choose from. I read in another forum...I think an acura forum that they had to use a soldering iron to melt away the tabs that originally holds the socket in place in order to fit the LED arrangement through. They then used silicone glue to seal and """"secure""""" the socket. I'm tempted to buy them and see if they'd fit without a hitch in our cars. I don't think I would be willing to melt my headlight assembly to get them to work though. Not having a flawless car would bug me mentally! There are two types of switchbacks too..."AO" and "AW". I think I like the "AO" better, because it would just suit the function better and confuse less people in my opinion. AO ![]() AW ![]() What do ya'll think? |
