stick to your halogens.
If you wanna be the guinea pig, purchase a pnp hid kit and the result might be good as they may not be(for the coupe that is)
The sedan uses a reflective halogen setup, so a pnp kit there is a no-no.

what makes you think that's the total cost?
the total cost is in the 600-700 range.
Again, some people pay 300 for ballasts alone and 100-120 for HID bulbs when u can get better OEM ballasts for 140, true HID bulbs for 20 . Savings: $260

Retro is the way to go...
8th Accords don't deserve reflecting ones...
They want a laser!!

Hi all. Just purchased a 8th gen accord (alabaster silver, I4, EX-L) this past saturday. Very nice car! I was just curious to see if anyone has installed a pnp kit yet and if so, how they performed with the halogen projectors. I would like to go HID and I know doing a retro would be my best route but just wondering how the pnp kits looked.

Thanks Matt

Where can I get a retro fit kit for 800 or so? I would rather do it correctly if at all possible.
