Tints

I have a Black EX-L coupe. Looking to tint it. I know the "legal limit" in CT is 35%. But, I think 20% might look a lot better.

Opinions on tints?

I opt. for tinted windows at the dealership when I bought mine. I liked that the rear windows have a darker tint making it impossible to see from the outside who's in the back.
I got the max legal % of tint because I like the contrast of the black windows with the silver color. This doesn't apply in your case though.

20% is def better..and you can get away with them..saying their 35.. imho i go with 5% all the way around but that might be too dark for you

5% is way too dark. 20% would be a good in between.

Definitely 20% - put 20% all around on my San Marino Red V6 coupe - VERY HOT!

I have a BHP too and tint really changes the look of it. Lucky you that CT allows tints. CA doesn't allow any tint for the front window. I'd go 35%, I use to have 20% in the back (different car) and thought was a bit hard to see during bad weather and at night.

I got a LX black coupe and today i just tinted my windows 35% all over. Its real nice and i suggest it. I was thinking about 20% black and side windows and 35% on the front, but changed my mine after realizing that it will look kind of tacky. 35% all over looks more professional and classy. But i will suggest that is you do 35% front and back, with 20% on the back side windows may look pretty good. I'll post pics soon of the tint job.
