Shift Knobs
Hello everyone,
I've been thinking about replacing the shift knob in my car (EX-L, manual, black, black leather). I like the one it came with but I find myself wanting a weighted shift knob more. I'm not sure but I think it'd be hard to match the silver trim on the inside. Anyone have any recommendations on what to get? Thanks, Matt |

I don't care for Momo's stuff. Too "ricey" lookin' to me. Are you needing a 5-spd or 6-spd?
THIS is what I have in my Accord. The silver matches quite nicely. Here's a pic of just the knob itself. ![]() If you don't like the red you can always easily paint it black or whatever. Mine actually came with no color and I painted it red (when it was in my RSX). I'm thinkin' of going with a blue theme interior on my Accord and would paint the knob numbers blue to match. Anyway...it's got some nice weight to it and it's also smaller. These two factors make for smoother shifting and lower height of the knob. Here's on from Spoon....pretty neat but not TOO flashy. Also no gear indicator etchings, so it'd be fine for 5- or 6-spd. ![]() Here's a titanium-colored 5-spd: ![]() This one is from a Caddy CTS. I think it's pretty sweet lookin': ![]() Last edited by Darth Do'Urden : 03-01-2008 at 10:12 PM. |
