its not really exceptional. There are no brand named speakers in the premium sound system just higher watts output. I wound upgrade to some really hi-fi speakers if I needed more clarity.
I don't have much experience but I think the car stereo is just OK |

Has anyone thought about (or done it) just replacing the subwoofer? I'm just wondering if there's enough power to push an after-market sub? Seems to me the biggest weakness of the premium sound system is that the bass gets distorted at higher volumes. This would be an easy fix if the power is there.
