08 Accord V6

What do you all think about the difference in the engine with the 5 speed auto and the 6 speed MT? The coup I got with the V6 and 6MT does not have the VCM and is VTEC vice IVTEC. Do you think that is a big deal or did they make the cars with the 6 speed MT like that for a more sporty drive?

I believe it is for the sporty drive and sporty engine response. It certainly isn't the best gas mileage, but the car is plenty quick.

Exactly. If you want fuel economy then go with an automatic or sedan.

Me? I'm happy with the MPG I'm getting and the drive is a blast--I love it.

Well I purchased the car a little over a week ago. Don't think I have a choice. I just thought all the V6 engines had the VCM and I-VTEC. I bought the Coup with the 6 speed MT for a reason so that is cool with me also!
