drove an 06 ex-v6 non-navi (it was lined up for my dad to get after i purchased my si but my mom told my dad it was a no go.) loved the kick behind it, leather was great, love how everything was placed (center console, steering wheel, dash, etc) just a lil to big for me tho.
waiting on my salesman to give my dad a ring. ^ that was a 06 coupe btw cant really say anything about the sedan... |

Just drove it in the Honda Ride and Drive it's a nice improvement over the previous Accord. I like the new steering wheel (fatter). Low speed handling was cool (once you try it out you'll understand.
I snuck in a camera. I'll post in the gallery. ![]() |

Last night me and my fiance went to the dealership and drove the V6 EX. The car didnt have leather or nav but drove great! It was probably the most comfortabke car I have ever driven/rode in. There was plenty of space for up front as well as the back. The car has a ton of power. The drive was amazing. There wasnt a lot of space on the road (stupid city traffic) to really open it up. I did eventually get to open road and a pretty twisty road.
I was very impressed with this car. Its the first car that I have test driven that I would trade my 06 Civic SI for. I am waiting for the coupe to come in on the 25th of this month. I just wanted to stop by and give you my thoughts on the car. If you get a chance drive one. Hopefully in the next few months we will own one. |

Now, I am admittedly biased, but the car simply rides AWESOME!
I noted some difficulty making the gear transition with the manual, especially in the lower gears. The car wants to GO, but the clutch is a lil soft, in a nice way, and so is the suspension. So, the car bounces through the gears a lil at first. There is a good amount of road noise, if you shut off the stereo, which is hard to do! One thing you don't hear, though, is the engine. Until you get to about 4-4500 rpm, this motor is very quiet. Powerful, yes, with abundance, but quiet. The seats are a dream! I'm only 5'9, but I would imagine anyone under 6'2 will be fine. There is plenty of headroom, and the seats have all kinds of adjustments. If you can't get comfortable in here, you should be looking at Caddy's. Sporty! With a nice subtle suspension. And those big wheels! They ride nice. Best wheels Honda ever put on a car. As for rear seat room, there's plenty. But who's gonna sit back there? Not me. Fit and finish. Well. It's a Honda. Any other questions? So, as you can see. I liked it. And I bought it. Awesome. Drive one. You'll buy it. ![]() |

Body Kit Compliment
Just wanted to mention that, after I brought my car back to the dealer to have the
body spoilers put on, the service manager said it was the nicest looking car that Honda has ever made. I would have to say that I agree! I would probably add that it was the nicest driving car Honda has ever made, also. Go see for yourself! ![]() |

I got a chance to test drive a new V6 Coupe A/T and honestly, I was disappointed by my experience. Now I should mention that I absolutely LOVE my Hondas......and I am a huge fan of thee 7th gen Accord - I have owned 4 of them - 2 sedans 2 coupes.
I think it was thee Auto Tranny that killed it for me - while thee ride was extremely smooth, I couldn't really feel thee power of thee V6 when I got on thee car. I wasn't very fond of thee new interior design - seemed somewhat bulky - and I felt there were more blinds spots than in thee previous model. I do absolutely LOVE thee exterior of these cars - both thee coupe and sedan are extremely hot!!!! I let my dealership know to contact me when they get a M/T...I think that will honestly be thee selling point for me personally - I know it will be a different story when I get in that car and take control Last edited by Revtress : 11-24-2007 at 08:22 AM. |
