Just got done with a 1200 Mile Road trip in my 08 EX 190HP Accord and I must say it has been a long time since I have driven that much in a 4 day period of time and been so relaxed.
The way it drives, handles, accelerates....the comfort of the seats (And this is where I am totally floored - how nice it was to drive a pretty long distance and not have the body aches and so forth) I had 3 Children - 7,6,5 years old - in the back seat the whole way, and they had plety of room and it kept the "He's touching me" stuff to a bare minimum.....and what my wife and I loved the most is that they slept a LOT...once again the comfort of the seats. All I can say is I was and still am sold....4500 Miles in 2 Months later. Chris

I found a 08 V6 Coup with MT drove it and bought it right away. Had to fight about the price for a while but got it for MSRP which was better than I did on my 06 SI. I had to pull out the Military ID and tell them it was not right to gouge me and I wanted to see the sales manager. The sales manager paid off my 06 Civic SI with 34 thousand miles for $14,326.00 and sold me the Accord for the MRSP which was $28,894.00 I just had a hard time finding one. I don't understand why Honda don't make more of them. I have seen numerous people at all the dealers I have been to walking away from the coups with the 4cyl and auto trans because they want the V6 MT. They just mine in that day didn't even have all the plastic off if it yet.

Well I drove a EX V6 5AT and well its was ok smooth, quiet and well laid out interior. If they still offered the 6spd id prolly get the sedan but I dont want a auto, I want a manual so coupe it is lol.
Thats my problem now, I have a 07 Si and the dealer said they would take it no problem but its gonna be awhile before my dealer gets a belize coupe v6 with a 6spd Last edited by schwartzki : 01-30-2008 at 10:32 PM. |

Yea man the V6 6MT coup is not an easy find as it is. To get the color you want is even harder. I was looking for about 4 months before I found one and it was white which I was ok with. Since I have had it I have not seen another. Some of dealers I went to didn't know if or when they they would get one in. If they did know it was like 6 to 8 months down the road.

Did you buy the body kit from Honda? or did you buy it somewhere else?
How much did they charge you to put on the kit |

i first test drove the automatic because they didnt have any manual v6s and i was dissapointed. The automatic isnt great at all and there isnt even a tiptronic option that is available on so many cars nowadays. Then a couple weeks later i got my hands on the six speed and it was great, you could really feel all the power the car has to offer. After that I didn't even question the automatic and now I am loving my manual v6.

I drove one with the I4 in auto and it was not for me. When I found one with the V6 and 6 speed it was spot on! The engine is set up a little different with the 6 speed than the one with the auto to give it a little more preformance which is why it is not quite as good on gass.
