Accord Vs. Altima
Test drove both today and im leaning alittle towards the accord but i could use input.
Im going v4 coupe for either because of price and gas mileage. So can anyone give me some pros and cons? So far ive noticed -Accord has better handling -Altima has a smoother ride (Cause of CVT) -Couldnt really judge acceleration because it was a test drive -Basicly same makeup and interior. I know most of you are gonna say accord because its an Accord forum but some honest help would be nice. |

Well read some of the articles on the Accord vs Altima. I looked at a Altima Coupe before the Accord coupe hit the street and couldn't do it because the trunk was way to small along with the back seat. My 2006 civic si seemed to have more room on the inside than it did.

honestly dude if ur looking at both, the accord ur getting 190hp, but with the altima coupe ur getting 175, its a 15hp difference but trust me it does make a difference. One of my very good friends has the alt coupe, and the sound system is horrible once you start gettin loud, the accord has a much better standard system. But the altima has CVT, at lower speeds it takes a little to pick up. If I were you I'd take the accord, plus accords last you til the next ice age. And plus I love my 8th gen sedan, nothing more I could ask for that amount of money
Thats my 2 cents, hope u make the right decision buddy |

Funny, I was considering both as well - in the end, I just liked the Accord better - and the dealership was more "on-the-ball", IMHO... very important to me, as the buying experience last just a minute, compared to taking the car in for service (if need be).
I appreciate your (Accordemir) comments as well. Geo |

The accord looks alot more slick and the front is something you can't resist. This tells alot too.

Nothing against Nissan but their Altima Coupe is just to small for me my 06 Civic Coupe had more room in it by far. The truck on the Altima is so shallow and small you can't fit much of anything in it. So the car is not any good for a road trip or travel becuase you can't fit much in the trunk. Not even good for a run to the airport to pick someone up. Not sure why they designed the car that way.
