Owner Link

I just wanted to ask to see if anyone else has experienced this or not. In the past when ever a Honda Dealer has preformed any maint or repairs to my car they entered it to my Owner Link account. I bought a new Accord from Rusty Wallis in Dallas and they did my first Oil change. I checked on Owner Link and in my service records nothing was entered like in the past with my Civic SI. I called the service department at Rusty Wallis (where I bought the car and they signed me up for my Owner Link account) and the service department has no clue to entering anything into your service records in Owner Link. They didn't even sign or fill out my maint book I left sitting on the passenger seat. They said they would figure it out and call me back but to this day they have not. They said by friday. It kinda makes me mad but didn't know if I was just going overboard or not.

this proves that they are just a bunch of gas station "mechanics".
The only think you can do is report them to Honda USA and avoid them in the future.

Yea I was caught by suprise about that one. I thought with the larg new dealership they would be more up to date on that. They even had WIFI or wireless internet in the waiting room for you to use your laptop. They also had a few computer in there if you didn't have one. Now I am worried that I have no record of the oil change. I put the slip in a safe place and forgot where! Go figure.

I think you can enter data to the owner's link yourself, if they don't do it eventually.

Since I bought my Civic back in 05, I've simply entered any information myself. I was never aware the dealership was supposed to do that. Although, it seems they'd have a database intact that would be able to take what they type and print it out at the dealer and transfer it to your Owner Link.

Something to think about.

I didn't know either I just noticed that when ever I had anything done to my car they entered it. That just changed when I went to Rusty Wallis in Dallas.
