UPDATE:
Rockblocker responded, turn out they do sell the films so you just cut to the size/shape you want. Here's the LINK. I'm ordering mine now. Hope this helps. Let me know how yours turn out if you do get them. Thanks! |

Dumb question but, how do you turn these things on? My EX-L V6 came from the dealer with them already installed, but no one could figure out how to turn them on. Should they come on with the lights? Maybe they are not wired correctly??

The switch for the fogs is located on the same lever as turn signals.
It's a ring that you rotate, similar to the speed adjuster for your windshield wipers. Your headlights needs to be on or maybe just the parking lights...but make sure you have your headlights on then turn the ring. |

I slapped those on this weekend. You can't tell you have them on unless you are close to the fogs so I didn't take any pictures. Also, it's easier to install rockblockers on the fogs before you install the fogs. Order the rectangular ones and just stick them on the fogs and trim around the edges. I was too lazy to remove my bumper and take the fogs out so the edges of my fogs are not protected but good enough for me. If you're patient then you can do it without having bubbles. It's sort of like applying window tint.
Also, I start to notice the fogs that came with the car doesn't have the trim on the bumper. Factory Installed HERE Accessory HERE |

That is something I was asking about. To replace the factory installed if it is to get broken is like $300.00, you can purchase the accessory kit for considerably less and you would have another light for the other side if it gets broken. But from the look of things it don't look like they are interchangeable. Also looks like they could be a pain to change.

IMO, the accessory fogs looks better on dark color cars because of the dark color trim. It's just the price for a replace is ridiculously high compare to a brand new kit. Installation of the accessory kit isn't hard just time consuming and could be a hassle. |

well I am going to have to get something to protect mine before I will be willing to just order a new one and put it in. On the road right now don't have time just hope the other one don't get busted.

You can see that it's not perfect cuz I just free hand the cutting. I was lazy. If you put the rockblocker on before you install the fogs you can get a perfect coverage. Hope this helps. Also I ordered the rectangular ones rather than circle. It's around $20 shipped but enought to do 2 pairs of fogs. I should also add that i was in a rush so there are some bubbles. But in my opinion, everything will be easier if you do the rock blocker before you install the new fogs. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
