K24z3, I/h/e

Hopefully.. some companies will develop I/H/E for the I4 series..

and

I really hope....that the i4 accords don't get into a situation like R18s...

why do I have to always end up with a version that no one cares..

K24Z3 will have a huge amount of power increase with just I/H/E due to the 2.4...size

Im looking at doing a SRI, a header and a dual exhaust even though its a I-4. The Accord just needs duals! Hopefully the Duals wont be a V-6 only kinda thing.

As far as the header goes I doub't there be anything made as the head features a cast in head manifold. Better off swapping to a K20A2/K20Z1/K20Z3/K24A2 cylinder head.

Im sure this could still be ported for cheap, and a header/test pipe will come out.

the head features a cast in head manifold,
almost similar to the R18 Design.

No need to worry about the manifold since it should be the last thing to be worried about because...
1. Plastic Intake Manifold...<-- must find something...
2. Intake <--- I am constantly calling INJEN , AEM for an Intake development for K24Z3.
3. Exhaust <--- I looked under the car already and shouldn't be a problem with a current pipe size because they seemd to be ok (I probably get an axle back, but the problem is that the pipe is almost a one peice from the downpipe section.)
4. K-Pro ... must have must need !!... Must call them soon to make them start develop.

5. Turbo , Single Manifold Output, etc..
wouldn't it be easier for us to stick a turbo straight to that manifold ? that would create a less stress about designing a headers for a turbo kit.

So.. far.. All I have done is 8000k Hid Pnp Kit. .. I am going to drop the car about 1 inch next month... hrm.. hrm.. hrm...

Btw, I beat BMW 325 or 328 automatic
(the crappy looking one not the M3.)
that car had no chance... go K24Z3!!

Apart from the sound I am not sure if there is going to be any upgrade in HP by changing the exhaust. Honda supposedly had put a more free flow type to increase power from 177 to 190 for the EX model. Any comment on that? Thanks.

As I said, the pipe diameter is pretty big compare it to being any other stock pipes.. However, some good axle back exhaust will sound nice. The HP difference between 177 and 190 is mostly due to the redline limitation. Perhaps, you could be right.
You don't want HP gain from an exhaust and an intake... they never give you a good number back.

When I was researching the 2 I4 motors, the only two differences are the exhaust and PCM. From what I saw the exhaust on the z3 is noticably larger and is louder than the z2 exhaust. The PCM although I dont know for sure, does seem to be just an increase in redline to take advantage of the larger exhaust breathing better.
I went through estore.honda.com to look for different part numbers and the PCM and exhaust were the only part numbers that were different.

Im predicting that no one will make a better intake than the stock one.

Look at it, it looks like a ram air, that picks up cold air straight from the front grille. You can't get better than that!
