Most people put too much emphasis on the dollar amount, when there's a lot more factors that go into purchasing a vehicle (or anything for that matter).
wbb1211 up there paid MSRP for his/her Accord. Personally I say good for him! The car is worth every penny of the MSRP--it deserves to be bought at that price.
There's no shame in paying sticker price. But I certainly wouldn't suggest paying a dime over for anything extra the dealership adds to the car. Those extras are usually exponentially more expensive on the lot than they are if you were to buy them separately online or even at the parts counter at the SAME dealership. I've seen some addendum stickers where tint was charged at $500--complete thievery.

I hear you not as easy to make a deal on a car when it is the only one with in a 100 or more miles. It was the only one with a 6 speed in all of the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. Could of got a much better deal on a automatic, I-4 engine, or 4 door since they were a lot more of them. I wanted the V6 and 6 speed so I had to give a little more but didn't give over MSRP. I think honda only put out 1000 out of 40,000 accords with the 6 speed.
