It’s funny how thing work out. I was in the market for a new car as it was for a month or 2. I really wanted the Accord, but my requirements for a car are simple: 2Doors, V6, 6-speed manual. At that time I could not find one without some extra "Screw you" fees. As I was less than 2 hours of purchasing an altima coupe, the dealer manages to rip the top of my S2000 while doing a trade in inspection. Rather than owning up to it, they acted like it was already there. I ended up fighting them for the money to fix it, and won. The only problem is that it would be 3 weeks before I could get my car in to be fixed.

So as I am one week from fixing the top and selling the car, I find myself hitting a massive puddle on the interstate, hydroplaning into spin, and hitting the concrete barrier of the bridge I was on with the back left of my car; resulting in a nice 100 foot slide backwards. Bent the frame, totaled out the car -which paid out double than any tade in offer- and low and behold I was able to find an Accord coupe a few days later.

Not exactly the best way to finally get my car, but (dare I say?) worth it in the end. I am now the owner of a Nighthawk Black EX-L Coupe. I was going to write how they compared...but sheesh I think I've written enough in this post.

Hey let me know how they compare because right now I'm on the fence on whiich car to buy - 08 s2k or 08 coupe v6 ex-l MT. I test drove the s2k and that car is a beast to tame. Can't get a hold of a coupe to test drive.
So were you driving overly aggressive when you hit the puddle and hydroplaned? That's one thing I'm concerned with the s2k is that it will be too hard to control... especially in chicago winters.
So if you could give me some insight on what you think of both cars and how they compare it would be very helpful.
