I picked up my 2008 Accord EX Sedan AT last Wednesday and have been driving about an even mix of city and highway. Regularly, I drive 120km/day to and from work so gas efficiency is a big thing for me.

After filling up my first tank of gas last night (60L...ouch), I was shocked to only be getting 533km before the gas light went on (10.5L left according to the manual). I picked up the car with a full tank so that works out to be only 11.3L/100km (or 20.9mpg for you US folks).

I don't think I'm too agressive of a driver, averaging 120km/h on the highway. Does the mileage get better as the engine breaks in?
