True, but you could have also gotten a car that has 100k miles on it, a few rust spot, and a funky odor from the previous owner for less than $2500. It'll still get you from point A to point B. And you could have used that $20,000+ that you spent on the new Accord to put toward your retirement or your child's education.
It's really just all in what the customer wants. I personally like the navi, but I completely understand that it's not necessary.
